we now summer is officially over but before you do budgets have yet to tell the last trips. I must say that I slowed down a bit in fact among the weekend in Austria and in September Rotaliano that this year has gone to great three weeks that they did not go to the mountains and I took the big Friday, September 11th with the rise to Sass Rigais 3025mslm my first vacation three thousand, even a few years had not breached the last time the share was at the Refuge Vioz. Wonderful day I start quietly, Max, Clare and Paschi, the Manu stayed home to study because it tests at this time. We arrive Santa Cristina in Val Gardena Daunei parked in town and from here we walk to the shelter Juac, we had already done this trail a few months ago when we had gone around Rifugio Stevia - Rifugio Firenze. At the
Juac in less than half an hour we stop for a drink and immediately after they leave. The day was fantastic clear and there is a cloud in the sky! Florence reached the hut, continue towards the Sass Rigais take the path that we post the attack on the eastern side of the railroad. Go up a valley to the fork between Giaroni Sas Rigais Furcheda and the two highest peaks in the Odle. Short break and then right away because the Furcheda continues to discharge stones that pass even relatively close. Paschi non è in forma e preferisce tornare al Rifugio Firenze ed aspettarci lì, così proseguiamo in 3. La ferrata non è difficile e in non molto raggiungiamo la vetta dalla quale si ha un bellissimo panorama, stanno arrivando anche delle nuvolette ma niente di che. La discesa è per la ferrata del versante Sud, ma superati i pezzi di cordino poi si ha tutto un tratto di roccette che secondo me è meglio fare in su, e quindi fare il giro opposto a quello che abbiamo fatto noi. Verso le cinque raggiungiamo Paschi al rifugio, ci riposiamo un pò e poi torniamo alla macchina.
La domenica che anche è una giornata splendida partiamo io e la Manu per andare a fare un giretto in Brenta abbiamo poco tempo e così andiamo dal Pradel alla forcella Piz Galin. It is not that great especially the first part of the trail but in three hours and we went back.
Sunday 19 after it has rained all day Saturday I got up in the sky and the sun shone so fantastic and I could not resist, the Manu sacrificed another Sunday in the studio and I started calling my friends mountain but not at 9 am hoping good day everyone was asleep, I finally managed to arrange with John, Martin, Pear, Clare and Max The goal was Sarntal but when we were in Bolzano were all closed roads for whatever event, and then we diverted from the route to the destination shelter Bolzano Val di Tires. We left the baths Lavina Bianca after a nice path for Tires in the woods, and then up a groove with the wooden walkways. Our friends were in shape, and so Claire, Max, Jack and Martha are left with a good pace, and while I calmly ... But we got the tables be marked by 3:50 h and 2:20 h we have spent no I complain so we had a nice chat. Of course I failed to say however that the trip was to 1300 meters in altitude otherwise affect the data was too :-)
As one of last weekend's opening of the shelters we allowed ourselves a good dinner. After lunch, the temperature dropped drastically and Pero Gianni and Martin have started down while Clare and I went up to the summit of Mount Pez. Beautiful view from here!
