Saturday we spent the whole day with two new friends met on the net, Frances & Ivan , who have two Bionieri a nice little cabin in the woods 300 meters above Lake Como.
reached only on foot by choosing between two paths, this tiny hamlet of 4 houses is really a beautiful place with a lake view with a glimpse of up to MonteRosa between Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta. Their goal is to give up city life and move permanently by next summer in a cabin, pointing to self-sufficiency with the help of the garden and some small animals like goats and chickens.
The dream would be to open a point of comfort, in fact the cabin is on the " Royal Road, a scenic path that connects Como to Bellagio and visited all year from trekkers and mountain bikers.
